488 New COVID-19 Cases in Illinois as of Friday

The Illinois Department of Public Health Friday announced 488 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois. The Department also reported eight more deaths.

Approximately 86% of the fatalities remain among patients age 60 years and older.

Bureau, Henry, and Iroquois counties are now reporting cases.

As of Friday, IDPH is reporting 3,026 cases, including 34 deaths, in 40 counties in Illinois.
