The case of a Shelbyville man charged with driving a vehicle into Village Square Mall in 2018 has been continued until March.

25-year-old Jordan Johnston is charged with burglary counts. Johnston is accused of driving a vehicle down one of the main hallways of the mall, and then breaking into the Zales Jewelers store. Authorities at the time of the incident said Johnston allegedly used the vehicle he was driving to back into and through a mall entrance, then travel down two main hallways, then use the vehicle to break into the Zales store where an undetermined amount of merchandise was taken.

Johnston also faces a residential burglary count in Shelby County. He is due in Shelby County Circuit Court on February 26.
