Charleston Man Killed in Friday Crash

A Charleston man was killed in a Friday morning crash in Clark County.

32-year-old Wade C. Schaefer was traveling on Clarksville Road when his car crossed over into the lane of an oncoming semi and the units collided head-on. Schaefer was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred at 6:19am, just east of Cleone Road.

The driver of the semi, 37-year-old Matthew Wayne Locker of Knightstown, Indiana, was not injured.
