Grain Systems, Inc. to Close Flora Operation

Grain Systems, Incorporated has announced plans to close its Flora location, as of the end of January.

89 employees are affected by the decision, although the business has locations in Newton and in Assumption and employees of the Flora operation might have the opportunity to relocate to one of those operations.

GSI is reported as the world's largest manufacturer of steel farm bins, commercial storage grain bins and grain silos. The company provides equipment and services to over 70 countries worldwide.
