Nine Vehicles Involved Break-ins at St. Anthony High School During Tournament Saturday

While a capacity crowd was inside the Enlow Center at St. Anthony High School watching tournament championship basketball, others were outside damaging and burglarizing vehicles.
The Effingham Police Department reports the rash of vehicle burglaries occurred between 6pm and 6:30pm Saturday. Nine vehicles were reported to police as damaged and/or burgled. Various items were stolen including purses, cell phones and cash. Detectives are continuing the investigation, and a person of interest has been identified.
