Cumberland School Board Discusses Outdoor Restroom Facility; Acts on Personnel

Cumberland school board members discussed a track and football restroom facility at this month's meeting.

The building would also include a concession stand and storage area.

The Board voted to retain The Upchurch Group to plan and spec the facility. Board member Howard Markwell voted against the motion.

Board members also discussed a quote from Concrete Evolution for high school hallway floor refinishing. The vote to accept the quote was unanimously in favor.

Cumberland board members discussed another maintenance position. It was decided to revisit the issue at their December meeting.

The Board voted to post the open high school head volleyball coaching position, approved Zachary Wolke as a volunteer boys basketball coach, approved Stacey Carl as a volunteer wrestling coach, approved 53 sick days to Kathy Meeker, and accepted the irrevocable letter of resignation from Kathy Meeker.
