South Central Board Pledges to Support CEO Program

South Central school board members voted this week to be an investor in the Marion County Little Egypt CEO Program. The Board committed to pledge $1,000 a year in District funds for a three-year period.

The Board discussed the tax levy for the coming fiscal year with a vote on the measure at the December Board meeting. Members were also updated on the District's report card from the State.

Board members hired Jake Skibinski as a part time assistant principal for the District;  Skibinski will be assigned to South Central Elementary School. The move will be effective beginning next school year.

The Board also approved Larry Maxey as a volunteer assistant for middle school boys basketball, and approved Stephanie Jones as Yearbook Sponsor at the high school for this school year.

Board members also accepted a bid for Unit Office replacement from GMJ County Acres.
