HSHS Medical Group hosted an Open House and Blessing at their new Occupational Health and LeadWell Clinic in Effingham Tuesday evening.

The event was an opportunity to learn more about how HSHS Medical Group is partnering with local businesses. LeadWell is a corporate health and wellness program designed to help employers improve the health of their colleagues. Services include on-site and near-site medical clinics, wellness services, pre-placement screenings, executive physicals, occupational health and virtual care technology.

On hand for the event were HSHS Medical Group CEO Melinda Clark, HSHS Medical Group President Dr. Loren Hughes, Occupational Medicine Physician Dr. Jon Jacobson who serves as medical director for HSHS' South Region, Effingham City Administrator Steve Miller, HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital President and CEO Theresa Rutherford, and Sacred Heart Parish Pastor and St. Anthony High School Chaplain Fr. Michael Rosa who gave the prayer and blessing for the facility.
