The 2019 Effingham High School Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned tonight.

The coronation will take place at halftime of the Homecoming football game between the Flaming Hearts and the Mattoon Green Wave. Kickoff is at 7pm and you can hear the action on 979XFM and www.979xfm.com

This year's Homecoming queen candidates are Kennedy Collier, Carsyn Bushue, Tobi Albert, and Madilynn Stortzum. The Homecoming king candidates are Jett Gillum, Nathan Shackelford, Hayvin Prather and Eli Seaman.

Junior attendants are Emmi Albert and Ellie Waymoth, while the junior escorts are Beau Hefner and Chase Woomer.

Sophomore attendants are Anna Carrell and Eden Wendling, while the sophomore escorts are Jonathan Perry and Ryan Smith.

Freshman attendants are Courtney Beck and Ella Niebrugge, while the freshman escorts are Evan Waymoth and Evan Zhao.

The Homecoming Dance is set for Saturday night from 8-11pm in Gym A at EHS.
