The Effingham City Plan Commission Tuesday approved two site plans for upcoming projects, and recommended the City Council approve a rezoning.

One site plan is for an additional hangar building at Effingham County Memorial Airport. The 120 foot by 90 foot building will be located just south of the existing hangar building.

The other site plan is for a 15,000 square foot building for Effingham Storage Solutions. The building will be located west of the existing buildings at 2301 South Banker Street.

The rezoning recommendation is for property at 408 West Temple Avenue. Don Bushue is requesting a rezoning from single-family residential to multi-family dwelling. He plans to have a storage area for vehicles on the lower level and residential properties above. Bushue owns apartment buildings just north of the property.

There was no opposition heard to any of the proposals.
