"Launching the Future" Theme of Next Community Celebration of Excellence

"Launching the Future" is the theme of the Fall 2019 Community Celebration of Excellence Breakfast.

The event will take place on Wednesday, September 25 from 7:30 to 9:30 am. The breakfast will be held at Thelma Keller Convention Center in Effingham

The presenters will be those who have directly benefitted from the specialized educational courses offered in the Effingham County community. They include Dr. Eric Bloemer of Runde Clinic in Teutopolis, who is an alumnus of the Health Occupations course; Zach Mette of Mette's Distinctive Lighting, who is an alumnus of the Effingham County CEO Program; and Dick Wente, who is an alumnus of the Construction Trades Education Curriculum, or CTEC program and will graduate with degrees from Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri in Construction Engineering Technology and in Construction Management, and works at Frederking Construction in Altamont.

Tickets are $15 per person. $5 of each ticket sold will go the Effingham High School and St. Anthony High School Scholarship Fund.
