They'll be saying "I love you" in song next week—leaving  many surprised, flattered and speechless.  On Thursday, February 14, singers from Samuel Music Company will fan out across the Effingham area to deliver Singing Valentines to special sweethearts. The sweet songs of love will ring out in offices, restaurants, and schools throughout the area.

“We’re always trying to find ways to bring music into the community, and we thought this would be something unique and fun, not only for the recipient, but for the people all around him/her, said Amanda Moloney,  Samuel Music manager. “It’s a great way for someone to make Valentine’s Day unforgettable,” she added.

Valentines will be delivered within city limits from 8a.m. – 3 p.m. on Valentine’s Day. Gift givers have a variety of songs to choose from, ranging from the 60’s to the present.

Valentines are priced at $15 and proceeds will benefit the music programs in several area schools.   “Music programs have been hard hit as budgets have been cut across the country. This is just one way where we can use our talented staff and associates to help continue to bring music to our community,” said Moloney.

To order a Singing Valentine, stop by the store at 908 West Fayette, or call them at 217-342-9221.  Orders must be placed by Monday, February 11.
