Fayette County Coroner Responds to Two More Deaths

On Monday July 15, Fayette County Coroner Dave Harris responded to his second and third calls in less than 30 hours.

Just after midnight, he was called to Fayette County Hospital in regard to a death in the Emergency Room.  That person's identify has been released to be 78 year old of Billy R. Robertson of Vandalia.  

Later in the morning, Harris and Deputy Rob Schukar responded to a death in a home in rural Vandalia.  At this residence, Coroner Harris reported that he pronounced 56 year old Bradley D. Thompson deceased.   

Harris's first call happened early Sunday morning, July 14th as Nikki L. Handegan, 36 of Vandalia, was discovered dead by a co-worker at their place of employment.  

No further information is being released at this time as these matters are still under investigation by the Fayette County Coroner's Office.
