Deadline is Monday to Enter State Fair Parade

Illinois State Fair officials are reminding the public of the upcoming deadline for Twilight Parade entry applications, which is Monday, July 8th. The annual parade kicks off the showcase of Illinois Agriculture and unique entertainment August 8th at 5:30 p.m.

If interested in becoming a part of Illinois State Fair history, please read the General Parade Rules and submit a 2019 Parade Application to:

The parade committee will evaluate and select approximately 60 entries based upon information provided in the applications. Failure to provide complete information or comply with the defined rules may result in non-selection. Parade judging categories are limited to: Marching Bands, Floats, and Specialty Units.

All entries must align with the 2019 the parade theme “BUILDING OUR FUTURE” and be postmarked or hand delivered to the Special Events Office on the fairgrounds by close of business on July 8, 2019.
