Two County Residents Get Prison Sentences in Fayette County Court

Two county residents have received prison sentences in Fayette County Circuit Court.

39-year-old Amanda Wesselman of Effingham has pleaded guilty to violating her probation on an original charge of unlawful possession of controlled substance. 

Judge Don Sheafor sentenced Wesselman to one year in prison.

23-year-old Tanner Barnes of Altamont has pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. 

Judge Sheaford sentenced Barnes to three years in prison.
