Neoga school board members set end-of-year dates at their January meeting.

8th grade promotion will take place on May 17 while high school graduation will be held on May 18.

The Board directed Superintendent Charles Castle to notify the Neoga Teachers Association of anticipated reductions in force.  After a two-hour closed session, the Board then agreed to establish a date for required procedures for reductions in force at a later date.

Neoga board members accepted a maternity leave for Carrie Althoff under the Family Medical Leave Act; discussed the budget; and discussed an electric supply agreement.

The Board also voted to have locks installed on the doors at the elementary and middle school buildings.
