Ramsey Residents Injured in Fayette County Crash

Details have been released by the State Police of a single vehicle accident that injured three Ramsey residents. 

At 12:45 Saturday morning a vehicle driven by Ryan D. Snider,  22, of Ramsey, left Illinois Route 185 just west of Fayette County Road 500 East, struck the left ditch and overturned where it came to rest on the roof. Snider and two passegers, a 17 year-old male and Kelsy S. Chamberlin, 20 of Ramsey, were able to escape the vehicle prior to it catching fire and being destroyed.

All were transported to Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia for what were termed non-life threatening injuries.

Snider was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Improper Lane Usage.
