Teutopolis Has Cruise Night Planned Friday

A Cruise Night is planned Friday in Teutopolis as a fundraiser for the rebuild of the Teutopolis Banquet Hall.

The banquet hall, operated by the Teutopolis Knights of Columbus Council, was heavily damaged by fire earlier this year. The building will need to be demolished and replaced with a new structure.

The Cruise Night headquarters will be the Teutopolis Knights of Columbus grounds on Pearl Street. Activities should begin at 4:30pm and continue until around 11pm. The cruise route will run from the KC grounds to Main Street in both directions and back to the grounds.

There will also be vehicles on display on the KC grounds, and there will also be a designated "burnout area" there.

The evening will feature food and drinks for purchase, and Vince Higgs will provide Cruise Night music. 

Anybody in the area is welcome to participate and admission is free. All of the proceeds will go toward the rebuilding costs.
