Spring Downtown Cruise Night is Friday Night

Activities sponsored by the Thursday Thunder Group are scheduled from 5 to 10pm. The cruise route will be along Jefferson Avenue, starting around Auto Zone on the west and traveling around the old Courthouse on the east. Heading around the Courthouse will head you back west on Washington Avenue until Front Street, when you'll ease back onto Jefferson to head west.

All street legal vehicles are welcome. Premier Broadcasting is one of the official cruise sponsors, and we will be broadcasting downtown live from 5 to 7pm on 979XFM and www.979xfm.com.  The station will be playing cruise-appropriate music during the broadcast.

There will be refreshments along the cruise route, include Hi-Boy sandwiches downtown on the Courthouse lawn and various items in the parking lot at St. John's Lutheran Church. Homewood Grill, Joe Sipper's Cafe, Toppins Soft Serve and Macklin Meadow Kettle Corn will be available, as well as The Dog and Robin's Nest. There will be live music downtown, too.
