Dieterich School Board Fills Vacancy

The Dieterich school board filled a vacancy on the board at this week's meeting.

Stephanie Fuesting was appointed to serve a two-year term, until the next regular Board election.

The Board purchased new high school varsity basketball uniforms, and approved new athletic and academic logos. The Board also approved a tentative amended budget for the current fiscal year and agreed to finalize a vote on the measure at the June 17 meeting.

Dieterich board members also approved the purchase of two copiers; hired Rebecca Repking as an aide for the coming school year; hired Rodney McWhorter as a full time bus driver for the coming year; hired Pam Faller as an elementary teacher for the coming school year; and approved a coaches and sponsor list for the coming year.

Resignations were accepted from Shanna Adkins as aide and After School Program co-director and from Alyssa Lane as After School Program co-director.

The Dieterich board also approved a summer maintenance budget that includes new ceiling tile for the junior/senior high hallways, refinishing the gym floors, new kitchen equipment, new overhead doors for the shop building, and repainting and repairing the exterior of the junior high gym.
