The Impact 2030 Creative Learning Culture team hosted a Lunch and Learn Thursday.

The Lunch and Learn team is an effort to bring together all those in Effingham County who provide lifelong learning experiences to others, who cultivate creativity, inspire innovation and are passionate about personal growth, to share their organization's mission.

Featured Thursday were Amanda Lessley with Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation, Dana Homann with University of Illinois Extension, Alyssa Long with Effingham Convention and Visitors Bureau, Cole Smith with Effingham Park District, and Brenda Roedl with Effingham Farmers Market.

Team Chairman Chelle Beck said other organizations are wanting to present at the next Lunch and Learn, set for Thursday, September 19 from noon to 1:30pm at the Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library. Beck said feedback has been positive about the content and about the possibility of integrating with upcoming events for the benefit of additional individuals.

You can register for the next Lunch and Learn on the library's website.

Creative Learning Culture team members are Johnna Schultz with Effingham Public Library, Chelle Beck with Effingham Unit 40 schools, Joanna Davies with Fresh Digs, Lisa Teichmiller with SYMBIS Love Story, Stacey Zerrusen with Effingham Art Guild and Dieterich schools, Stacey Rhodes with Tri-Music, Samantha Weidner with Effingham County Connections, and Karen Langham with CEFS.
