The Teutopolis Village Board has finalized dimension guidelines for accessory buildings.

On lots of less than two acres, buildings can be no larger than 1,200 square feet with a covered shelter or porch no larger than 400 square feet.

On lots of two to 4.99 acres, buildings can measure up to 2,200 square feet with a porch up to 800 square feet.

On lots of five acres or larger, the accessory building can measure up to 3,200 square feet with a porch up to 1,200 square feet.

The Board also established setback guidelines for the accessory buildings on lots of two acres or more.

The village board also cleared any hold on a lot in Prarie View Subdivision; approved closing Route 40 for the Knights of Columbus Parade in June; allocated $46,000 in Motor Fuel Tax dollars for street maintenance; awarded bids to Charles Heuerman Trucking for rock and sand; and hired Trenton Schwerdt for summer maintenance work.
