Illegal immigrants in Illinois will soon have the right to drive legally in the state, but there could be some changes to the law.

As it's written, the law does not require the immigrants to provide fingerprints before getting a temporary driver's license.  Opponents believe that could open the door for increased fraud.  They've asked the original House sponsor to reconsider the fingerprinting issue.  The sponsor says he's open to the idea, will hear the opponents out, and follow up with changes if necessary.
