The schedule for Easter weekend activities at The Cross at the Crossroads has been updated.

There will be a Good Friday prayer service beginning at 7:15pm on Friday, April 19 in the Chapel of the Cross Welcome Center. The brief ecumenical service will be led by Pastor Roger Marshall, a Cross Foundation board member and pastor of First Baptist Church of Effingham. Music will be provided by First Presbyterian Church.

Following the prayer service, at approximately 7:30pm, the Cross will glow "red" to signify the death of Jesus Christ. All faiths are invited to participate as we walk through Jesus' last days on Earth.

On Easter Sunday, the 21st, the Cross Foundation will host an outside sunrise service beginning at 6am under the arms of the Cross.

The ecumenical service will be led by the pastor and musicians from the United Pentecostal Church in Effingham.

In case of inclement weather, the service will be moved inside the Chapel of the Cross Welcome Center.
