Hobnob Spring Market will be back at the Effingham County Fairgrounds at Altamont on April 26 & 27.

Created in 2012, Effingham Tourism Director Jodi Thoele says, "Hobnob Market is many things…a village-fair style vintage & handmade market, a meeting place for family & friends to laugh and reconnect, a family day filled with delicious food and fun music, and a perfect chance to support small businesses and creative entrepreneurs doing the work they love to support their families and communities."

Goods found at the market include vintage finds & furnishings, creative handmade home goods, boutique clothing, handmade jewelry and accessories, and small-batch artisan foods. Styles range from farmhouse to industrial and vendors include several boutique trucks and fun vintage campers.

Hobnob Spring Market weekend is slightly earlier this year to accommodate local graduations, plus market founders Scott & Holly Snelling have updated the market layout for 2019 to provide better access to food vendors and parking that’s closer to the shopping area.

Earlybird Shopping is planned on Friday evening, the 26th, from 4-9pm. Organizers describe Earlybird Shopping as "a fun first-dibs shopping party. Earlybird access to all the vendors plus a cash bar, plenty of delicious food available, giveaways, & a fun DJ spinning songs."

Earlybird tickets are $10 per person. Tickets are available in advance on Facebook @hobnobmarket or https://www.eventsprout.com/event/hobnob-market-events-2019#tickets

Tickets are also available for purchase in person at Fresh Digs (210 N Banker, Effingham) and KT Boutique (113 N Main, Altamont) or at the gate on Friday, April 26.

Tickets purchased in advance include free Saturday admission.

Market Day will be Saturday, April 27 from 9am to 4pm.

Organizers say your plan should be "Shop. Laugh. Eat. Repeat!"

Admission is $5 per person at the gate.

Please Note: Children 12 and under are free both Friday night and Saturday.
