The Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library is showcasing artwork from its R.I.S.E. After School Program.

Work from these students will be on display until Friday, May 3. The R.I.S.E. students focused their work on geometric painting. Geometric painting is a fun, easy style of abstract art. It involves using tape to block out geometric patterns on canvas of any kind. With just a little tape, paint and creativity, anyone can make a unique pattern or design.

R.I.S.E. artists include: Irelyn Willis, Derek Doedtman, Ronan Bailey, Keara Ohnesorge, Jenny Tawdros, Kenzi Haarman, Susie Broeker Wright, Colton Michael, Kaden Rogers, Colin Ohnesorge, Joe Lagle, Evan Knierman, Zac Hartke, Kayne Haarman, Conner Eggers, Phoenix Coleman, Alex Tuttle, Adrain Stewart, Amiyah Robinson, and Alexander Palmer.
