100+ Women Who Care of Effingham County will hold its first voting meeting of 2019 on Thursday evening.

The meeting will be held at Thelma Keller Convention Center. The event will include registration and cocktails from 5 to 6pm, with the meeting beginning promptly at 6pm.

100+ Women of Effingham County is a group of county women who meet periodically to award grants to people-helping organizations. Each member contributes $400 each year; $100 at each of three voting meetings each year to fund the grants and $100 to build up an endowment to provide additional help.

Those who are members of the group suggest a recipient of the funds and the group decides who is selected. Women interested in learning more about the organization are invited as a guest.

The meetings are held at various locations across Effingham County, and last no more than one hour.
