Bailey Opposes Proposed Changes to State Abortion Laws

Approximately 3600 activists attended a rally at the State Capitol Wednesday protesting against two abortion bills moving through the General Assembly.  The rally comes a day after a Senate committee passed a bill repealing a requirement for minors to notify a parent or guardian about their abortion.  The other bill would remove medical certification requirements for staff at an abortion facility, and remove state inspection requirements from abortion facilities.

To show their support several House Republicans gathered for a press conference to show their displeasure for the legislation.
