"This idea came out of a City think-tank a couple years ago and it really resonated with the group," says Effingham Mayor Jeff Bloemker. "The more we thought about what the Effingham area has to offer in the way of wedding venues, combined with our geographically convenient location, we felt like the notion had great potential. Thank you to the sharp group of local event coordinators who put their shoulder to this effort and brought it to life!"
