Two Edmond, Oklahoma men were injured in a crash Monday morning at Montrose.

The crash happened at 5:41am on North Spring Creek Road, just south of I-70. Effingham County Sheriff's Department reported a car driven by 22-year-old Joseph Lactus of Edmond was southbound, while a truck driven by 26-year-old Mitchell Koebele of Teutopolis was northbound, and that Lactus turned into the path of Koebele's vehicle, resulting in the collision.

Lactus and his passenger, 21-year-old Nicholas Cole of Edmond, were both injured. Both were taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
