High Wind Warning in Effect Thursday

Stormy, windy weather is on the way to our area, particularly on Thursday.

A big component of the weather system will be strong sustained winds up to 60MPH. A High Wind Warning is in effect through Thursday at 10 pm for the entire listening area. The NWS warns, "Driving may be dangerous today, especially for high profile vehicles like semi trucks. Unsecured light-weight objects like trash cans and lawn furniture will be blown around. Damage to trees, roofs, and siding possible. Widespread power outages will be possible today."
