Donnewald Distributing Company Donates to County K9 Unit

Donnewald Distributing Company has contributed toward the cost of a new K9 unit for the Effingham County Sheriff's Department.

Donnewald Distributing Company President Mike Donnewald presented a check to Effingham County Sheriff David Mahon and the Effingham County Sheriff's Department for $5,000.

Members of the sheriff's department have been reaching out to area businesses in a fundraising effort. The funds will be utilized to acquire and train the new K9 unit.
