Details are in from Effingham city police on a crash Friday night in the city business park.

The crash happened at 6:11pm south of the intersection of Raney Street and Pike Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Timothy McCormick of Dieterich skidded on the snow-covered roadway and struck a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Kori Faber of Watson.

Faber was injured and was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

McCormick was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.

Police also reported on two crashes from earlier last week.

Just before 4pm Monday, a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Megan Cox of Altamont rear-ended a vehicle driven by 52-year-old Todd McMahan of Effingham at 1410 East Fayette. Both drivers were injured, but both refused treatment. Cox was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.

At 5:05pm Monday, a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Jacklyn Bouillon of Ramsey turned in front of, and was struck by, a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Dylan Sapp of Shobonier. A passenger in Bouillon's vehicle, 25-year-old Cody Beck of Ramsey, was injured and was taken to St. Anthony's. Bouillon was cited for failure to yield.
