Louisville Man Injured in Crash in Jackson Township

Effingham County sheriff's deputies report 23-year-old Colten J. Stout lost control of his car and ran off the right side of 1125th Avenue, a short distance west of 1000th Road. Stout attempted to bring the car back onto the roadway, but it completely crossed back over the roadway and enter the ditch on the other side. The car traveled through the ditch and overturned, coming to rest on its top.

Stout was injured and was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

No citations were issued. The crash happened at 10:23pm Friday.
