Two people were injured in a crash at Greenup during the noon hour Sunday.

State police report a truck driven by 18-year-old Makenna Ochs of Newton entered onto eastbound I-70 at the Greenup interchange at 12:20pm. Ochs lost control of the truck on the wet roadway, turning sideways in the roadway, and struck another eastbound vehicle driven by 49-year-old Larry Burroughs of Louisville. Both units ended up in the median.

Burroughs and his passenger, 51-year-old Cheryl Burroughs of Louisville, were both taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment of what authorities termed minor injuries.

Ochs was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
