Teutopolis village board members voted this week to pass a levy for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2019.

The increase in what was levied over what was actually extended in taxes last year was less than 5%, meaning a Truth in Taxation hearing was not necessary.

The Board also made payments on infrastructure projects, including almost $194,000 to Feutz Contractors of Paris for work completed on the Farmweld Street project, just over $17,000 to Connor and Connor Engineers for design work on the Farmweld Street project, and $5,205 to pay inspection fees on the Prairie View Subdivision street project.
