The GFWC Illinois Effingham Women of Today have completed two community projects as part of the club's annual list of volunteer services.

Members of the club donated over $300 in school supplies to Catholic Charities. A group of club members also donated their services in stuffing lunch supplies for the Blessings in a Backpack organization.

The GFWC Illinois Effingham Women of Today is the local volunteer organization that is part of the state and national federation of Women's Clubs. Any person interested in getting involved with local projects and scholarships is invited to contact any club member and attend any of the club's monthly meetings.
