Stew-Stras Board Approves Building Principal Contracts

The Stewardson-Strasburg Board of Education took action at this month's meeting on building principal contracts.

The district has been utilizing head teachers and other administrative assignments, but board members have now approved three-year contracts as building principals with Justin Deters and Cody McCollum. Both are currently working in administrative roles in the district.

The contracts will run from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2022.

The Stew-Stras board also approved the hiring of a part-time custodian and maintenance worker, and also approved the budget for the coming year. The measure is projected to be a balanced budget.
