100+ Women Who Care of Effingham County was the topic at the Effingham Noon Rotary meeting September 19.

Organizers Karen Etter and Melissa Willenborg shared about the organization where each woman contributes $400 annually. $100 of that amount goes to the organization's foundation to develop assets for future giving. The remaining $300 is distributed in $100 increments at each of the three meetings the group holds each year. Members of the group nominate agencies to receive the funds.

The most recent receiving agency was the FISH Christmas Store. Molly Bushue, who oversees the Christmas store, was a guest along with Karen Etter and Melissa Willenborg. Ali Habing served as Rotary weekly program chairman.

The Rotary weekly student guest was Braeden Quandt, son of Chris and Nikki Quandt and a senior at St. Anthony High School.
