The Labor Day weekend fundraiser hosted by Dr. Ryan and Sara Jennings will benefit United Way of Effingham County.

The party held at the Jennings' home raised over $10,000. United Way officials thanked the Jennings, those who helped organize the event, and those who live in Grupe Subdivision and the neighboring subdivisions for their support.

This was the 12th year for the event to support United Way, raising over $118,000 to date.

99% of the funds raised stay local. 24 local partner agencies receive funding from United Way of Effingham County.
