Authorities Release Facial Approximation of Man Whose Remains Were Found in Jasper County

Authorities have released a facial approximation of the man whose remains were found in Jasper County last spring.

The remains were located near Newton last March 10.  Authorities believe the individual could be Caucasian, Asian, Native American or Hispanic/Latino.  The individual is estimated to have been 35 to 50 years old and approximately 5'3" to 5'8".  The FBI completed the facial approximation.

The incident is being investigated by Illinois State Police, the Jasper County Coroner's Office and the Jasper County Sheriff's Department.
