Barn Fire Near Mason Monday

Edgewood Bi-County Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a barn fire during the noon hour Monday.

The barn is located on 100th Avenue, just southeast of Mason. We don't yet know the name of the property owner.

Reports indicate the barn was filled with hay and chemicals. No word yet on what caused the fire. Farina firefighters were called to assist at the scene.

No reports of any injuries.
