A Mason resident has been sentenced to seven years in prison for possession of methamphetamine.

43-year-old Andrew R. White was arrested in March on a count of possession of five to 15 grams of meth, as well as a count of methamphetamine delivery. The delivery charge, which carried a sentence of up to 15 years in prison, was dismissed in exchange for the guilty plea to the possession charge.

White was given credit for 135 days served in jail awaiting disposition of his case. He must pay all court costs.
