Effingham School Board Makes Personnel Moves

The Effingham Unit School District #40 held a Special Board Meeting Monday night and dealt with several personnel issues.

The Board hired Amy Hines as a Physical Education/Drivers Education Teacher and Behind the Wheel Instructor at Effingham High School.

Kim Adair was hired as the Transportation Director and Kara Pickowitz was transferred to the Early Learning Center as a Special Education Teacher.

The Board accepted resignations of Effingham Junior High School teachers Eric Brandenburg, Kim Heal, and Stacey Zerrusen. They also accepted the resignation of Mary Jo Bushur as a Special Education Teacher.

The Board approved a Leave of Absence for Donna Pierson.

Appointments were made of Carissa Niemerg as the Football Cheer Coach and Weston Peno as the Head Soccer Coach.

The Board also approved Micaela Chrappa as a Volunteer Jr. High Volleyball Coach, Chase Green as a Volunteer Jr. High Baseball Coach, and Phil Hull as a Volunteer Jr. High Baseball and Basketball Coach.
