Armed Robbery at Effingham Super 8

The Effingham Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred just before 3:00am Sunday at Super 8 Motel located at 1400 Thelma Keller Blvd.

Two white male suspects entered the motel armed with an unknown type handgun and demanded money from the night clerk. Approximately $150 in U.S. Currency was taken. Both suspects fled on foot west on Thelma Keller Blvd. towards Keller Drive.

Suspect 1: White Male, approximately 30 years old, 5’7” – 5’10”, has a goatee, speaks with a southern accent, was wearing an orange Texas Longhorn hoodie sweatshirt, carpenter blue jeans, and motocross gloves. He was armed with a handgun.

Suspect 2: White Male, approximately 30 years old,  5’7” – 5’10”, speaks with a southern accent, wore a black leather jacket, blue jeans and motocross gloves.
