Neoga School Board December Meeting

Neoga school board members took action on several items at their December meeting.

The Board:

--approved transporting students to Grace United Methodist Church on Wednesday after school

--passed the tax levy for 2012

--authorized Superintendent Charles Castle to evaluate and determine pre-service agreement with colleges and universities and enter into those acceptable to the District

--employed Katie Curry as a bus driver for the new semester

--employed Mallory Deters as an assistant high school girls basketball coach for one dollar

--acknowledged the superintendent's evaluation

--authorized Castle to execute an agreement with Red Cross for use of school facilities due to disaster relief

--paid a bill for heating and air conditioning work to Trane as presented

--heard from the Budget Committee on a meeting with district teachers and agreed to set up a meeting with non-certified staff members
