Several personnel matters were addressed at this week's St. Elmo school board meeting.

The Board approved salaries for administrators and the bookkeeper, treasurer and maintenance supervisor for the coming school year. Letters of resignation were accepted from John Stout as senior high school and junior high school head softball coach, from Tosha Schroeder as elementary paraprofessional, and from Heather Siebert as assistant high school volleyball coach, and a letter of intent to retire in three years was accepted from Scarlett Duckwitz, effective at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.

The Board approved a negotiated contract with the St. Elmo Educational Support Personnel Association for the coming three years; and approved the fee schedule for students for the coming school year as presented, except the student sports admission fee was set at $1.00. The Board approved the prevailing wage rate for contracted work; agreed to seek for bids for various commodities; rejected the playground equipment bids; and contracted for insurance for the coming school year.
