Personnel Moves Main Item at Unit 40 Meeting

The Effingham Unit 40 Board of Education took action on several personnel items at a special meeting Tuesday.

The Board hired Sara Schnepper as a nurse paraprofessional at South Side School, Gala Meyer as a Special Education teacher at Central Grade School, Heather Hartman as a 10-month secretary at Effingham High School, Jordyn Hartke as a Mentor Facilitator at Effingham High School, Greg Brumleve as a part-time Industrial Arts teacher at Effingham High School, Clair Monroe as a Math teacher at Effingham Junior High School, and Andrea Miller as a Science teacher at Effingham Junior High School.

The Board approved a transfer of Doug Hagy to a library clerk at Effingham High School.

Resignations were accepted from Jenni Fritcher and Jodi Frost as teachers and Ryan Koester as a custodian.

The Board also awarded the PE bid for the coming school year to Jedco Sales of Effingham.
