Fire Damages Semi Cab in Effingham

Effingham firefighters were called out about 8am Wednesday when the cab of a semi caught on fire.

The rig was on West Evergreen Avenue near the entrance to TA, just north of the interstate off Keller Drive.

Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire and prevented damage to the trailer of the rig and its contents.

No injuries were reported.
