A crash north of Effingham Tuesday morning resulted in injuries to one of the drivers.

Effingham County Sheriff's Department reports the crash occurred at 6:59am on US Route 45 at 1800th Avenue in Teutopolis Township, about two miles north of Effingham. Deputies report a car driven by 17-year-old Adriann Evans of Effingham failed to stop at a stop sign at Route 45 and collided with a Jeep traveling south on the highway driven by 26-year-old Megan Robinson of Neoga.

Evans was injured in the crash and was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Evans was cited for disobeying a stop sign, failure to wear a seat belt and operating an uninsured vehicle.
